Janice, I tried a "Wild Blue Yonder" block (#97) from one of the 100 blocks magazines. My points are coming together better but still have tons of practicing. Thank you all for letting me play with new blocks! One day, I might be really, really good at my corners.
One of the deer blocks is done, Moonrise. My block pattern is "Whirling Star Block" from a block a day calendar. I used this pattern in a previous BOOM and like the flow of colors so decided your deer needed a flow of colors, too.
There are a bunch that I'm working on at the same time. If I can get more wrapped up tonight, I promise to post pictures tonight. This is soothing my savage beast. Thank you everyone for the eye candy and inspiration!

Love those blocks, Ibex. I love the negative/positive blocks for two colors. Your Wild Yellow Yonder turned out great!
The deer block rocks, too..... ha ha ha. Love the pebbles with the deer, and those blueberries, so they won't get hungry.

wow..thats a pretty block Hav4Boys..Dont think Ive seen that one before. Have 2-3 cut out but finished a tshirt quilt today for a friends daughter. She had cancer at 9 and went thru surgery and radiation and chemo. Shes 18 now and wanted a bunch of her cancer tshirts and other shirts made into a quilt. I just hope she stays in remission.... Hope to get some sewing done tomorrow but my ironing basket is getting pretty full...and my dishes are piling up Great job everyone!!
