Coullmills sending my condolences also. My mom just passed in December, sometimes I still don’t believe she is really gone. Mom loved looking at my blocks and quilts. Quilting has been my salvation, when I make a bright block I always think of her lifting her glasses up and really looking at it. Then she’d say oh my Terri Ann that is a really bright, others she would remark on the pattern or a certain fabric. Feels like she is sitting right beside me. Oh darn now the tears are flowing

Coullmills, so sorry that you lost your Mom. That is a really hard thing to go through. Everyone has their own timeline for grieving. Just do what's best for you and know that we're all here for you when you need a shoulder to lean on or cry on. That's what sisters are for. ((((((Hugs and prayers for you and your family.))))))

Love and prayers coming your way Coullmills. I can only imagine how hard the entire process has been on you. As many of us, I lost my mother many years ago due to Alzheimers. Eight years later, I still sometimes think, "oh I can't wait to tell mom". It is such a tough thing.
On a side note boomers, I'm leaving tomorrow for a sailing trip to Tahiti, so I'll be silent for a couple weeks. Be safe, kids.

Good morning, Boomers. I keep forgetting to thank you all for the photos you’ve been posting. The vast majority are 200kb or smaller. I know for most of you it’s an extra step or two but I greatly appreciate the time you take to shrink them. Thanks!

Would anyone, by any chance, have extra fabric for Jaba left over and be willing to give it to me? I will gladly pay for shipping. Maybe if I get over the embarrassment, I will post my "horror" I created.
