Nice looking tops! And babies too!

I'm going to work on mine this afternoon. I'll be going with 3" sashing and then a 3" border with a row of 3" blocks alternating background/KF fabric and then another border of background.

one of my goals during my time off work is to see how many tops I can get quilted. I think I'm back up to around 30 tops again.

    Beautiful cheery tops, Terriamn!

I've spent this morning marking quilting designs on my blocks. Most will be quilted with a 1/4" out line to the pieces, but I'm putting some frilly flowers and butterflies and swirls in too.

Wow, Macybaby, 30 tops to quilt! Do you mind if I throw a couple of mine on the pile!

    I thought 4 tops was a lot. I'm glad I don't have that many.

Terri, I love 30's reproduction fabrics! Both of your tops are beautiful. I'm so glad you're feeling better and are able to sew some. You're on the downhill drag now, Girl! Just don't over do it.

OT- Ladies, my house smells sooooo good right now. I have a fresh lemon pound cake in the oven that I'm going to glaze with a fresh lemon powdered sugar glaze while it's still hot. It's for our youth group at church's bake sale Saturday morning. I've already made two batches of white chocolate bark with walnuts, dried cranberries and rum flavoring. They sold out last year before 11 am. Let's hope they do the same this year too.

Those are two cheery tops, Terri. Love your fabrics!

Libster, good for you. Don’t know how you can smell that lemon pound cake and not take a bite!

Sewbiz, at this point I am seriously thinking about buying my own cake! It smells soooo good and it came out of the pan perfectly. Get thee behind me, Satan!

Wow! So fun to see babies and quilt tops. Oh my!

Thank you all for the feedback on the blocks. I will get mine in a month and I can’t wait.

Plan to send pictures soon of my tulips. Today my DH knew I was feeling a little blue, so he set up our garden table and made me a shrimp salad to enjoy in the garden. It was so nice.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter. I will be in Seattle.
