Hello, jclinganrey. Hope you are well. We'll be starting up another group in a couple of months or sooner so hope you'll consider joining us again. Take care!

Jaba so glad that you made it home to Wyoming safely. It will be a good change for you but I know you will miss the grandbabies.

I'm glad there's facetime but it just isn't quite the same. I'll see them again over the 4th of July, we're all meeting in Washington at my other son's house.
Monday I start the round of doctor check ups here. Have to keep their records up to date I guess....Have a couple of issues but hopefully they can get them figured out or like my chemo doctor said, " Welcome to your new normal".
Sewed for awhile yesterday and got the blocks set. Not going to make this quilt huge but a nice size for throwing over your lap in the chair or on the couch. Today will pick out the border and sew, then it will be ready for the longarm.
Nice to hear from you jclinganrey, it's been awhile. Would love you to join the next Boom swap, hope you give it a thought or two

I finished this Sooner quilt-- my plaids one. I love this quilt! Thank you to everyone who made blocks in it, as well as a few I saved for another project. It will be a man's lap quilt. It was made by QAYG.

Lovely finish, SBG! I love the red centers in each block.

I haven't been able to touch my Boom blocks this week. I have only nine weeks left before Baby is due, so I decided to put the Baby's quilt in priority. I've finished appliquing all the blocks and started getting it ready for QAYG Sewbizgirl style. I think a small quilt would be a good start to a new method.

We bought a new to us family vehicle this week too, in preparation for Baby's arrival. It's a seven seater Dodge Durango, vs DH's huge old Dodge diesel truck I've been using for a family vehicle for the past few years. Now I have a "mom" vehicle. We will all be able to fit in it, and there is even room for me to nurse Baby in the backseat in Walmart parking lots!

Congrats on the new vehicle, NZ! Sound so nice...

I agree that a small quilt is a good way to get your feet wet doing QAYG. Be sure to show us!

Only 9 weeks... that will fly by and your darling baby will be here!
