Thanks Sewbiz I will be grateful for all the prayers and good thoughts I can get. As surgeon said I ‘m not a spring chicken anymore it will take me a bit longer to pop back.

Janice so glad we have all new windows in our house. The old ones were so drafty. Our new side door is steel and it has about a 1” thick layer of ice on the bottom inside of house.

We dropped off our old pup at my dd’s for our vacation. Her dog was funny, would be sniffing Rio and trying to assert her dominance then would stop and bark like hey there is a stranger in my house. I wouldn’t say they like each other but they tolerate each other.. so strange in the house without her

Terri, add my prayers for you and your doctor to the list. We want you back tip-top asap! Enjoy your trip. I'm positive you won't be missing this cold weather while you're basking in the sun. Have fun, Girl!

Good morning, Sooners! Just an update, we've got a couple of packages that have been on their way for a couple of days and should arrive today or tomorrow. We may be out of the worst of the weather-related delays so that's a good thing. At this point, all but one person have shipped so we're in fine shape. They aren't due until February 7th so there's time yet for everything to arrive. I anticipate shipping to you on time or even possibly early if the last package comes in early. We'll see!

Terriamn, safe travels and have a wonderful time!

Here's the block I'm wanting to try out. https://www.patchworksquare.com/inde...k1=60&link2=46

I cut out these fabrics (my focus fabric is the rainbow weave) but something doesn't look right to me. These fabrics don't look they will appear "woven" when sewn together. Do you agree? What should I change? Normally I can figure these things out. Maybe the blue and lavendar need more contrast? Love to hear your input.

I'll post my picture in a new post. I'm having technical difficulty with the file .

Here it is. Does it look woven to you? This is bugging me.
