Here it is. Does it look woven to you? This is bugging me.
The corners appear yellow-green on the screen, but they are lime green.

I went back and made all the patches touch as if sewn (no gaps). Does it help? Something still looks "off" to me.

I think the "problem" is your corner squares are suppose to be background, but they are brighter then your "woven" parts. I think if you changed your yellow for the grey the background would recede and your woven would be more prominent.

I think Kass is right, Zozee. It will help balance it out more.

I think you need to sew it together to really tell. And maybe use something with a little more contrast to the yellow, instead of the light blue.

edit: oops, didn't see this second page of comments... Yes, changing the blue for the lime green might do it.

I made my first block today. Yep, I can see how this is going to be addicting once I get to start playing with other people's fabrics!

NZ--I love the card tricks block! Never tried it, but I like it. Your fabrics look really good together. Yup, it's gonna be fun playing with everyone's fabrics.

NZ the blue and yellow on your card trick block looks like rotating hearts. I like it. I'm jealous of your points. I have a hard time getting my points to come out nice.
