I have a friend that had the lap band surgery and she is doing fantastic. Wishing you all the best with your procedure.

I love the creative, piecing part of making a quilt, I think it's why I love this swap.

I'm having a Super bowl Commercial party on Sunday and I need to go shopping for the Snacks. My husband is having a Super bowl party for his friends. 2 parties in one. My team is not playing this year, so I'm only interested in the commercials.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend, warm up is on the way. Even if it's only briefly. Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, supposed to be an early spring. But it is cloudy today, I didn't see my shadow either.

Very nice looking block, well done! Yep, the Boom Bug appears to have already struck.

NZ love your card trick block. I don't know if it's just me, but those colors and fabrics together give me a happy feeling.

Love the colors you chose, NZQ. Classic blue and yellow. So cheery.

This is another I've done for myself. The block pattern is from quilterscache.com and is called "Borrow and Lend."

Thanks for the lovely comments! I can't wait to see what you ladies create! I'm thinking of using Sewbizgirl's QAYG tutorial for quilting this quilt. Looking forward to it!

Zozee, cute block! I love how it looks like spools. Anything sewing related is extra fun!
