Macybaby, glad to hear DH is on the mend from his multiple ailments. Geez, he certainly had one issue after another.

Queen, this is the lull before the storm. It’ll get busy quickly once the F8s arrive next week. Btw, Darcyshannon’s are on the way but they’ve had a day delay. They should arrive tomorrow. It will not affect the shipping date one bit. You’ll probably receive your tracking number over the weekend but nothing will go out until Monday.

Ooooh, Cathy... I can't stand the thought of a finger in the log splitter! Hubby once stuck his hand into the engine fan of a running bulldozer, because he couldn't see it as it turned so fast, and forgot it was there! Many fingers broken... He's hurt his hands more ways than I care to remember. Glad your hubby is on the mend.

I'd also prefer not to get any bonus blocks. I'd rather that as much of my fabric as possible was used in the first block. I have my layouts planned and counted, and a bonus block would just present the problem of an odd block to find a use for. It's a lovely gesture, tho... just not needed this time.

I had fun making two side swap blocks for the Later group... warm up for the full swap. Soon we will be watching a beautiful block show. Can't wait!

This is what I've been working on while I wait for the swap blocks, I needed some mindless sewing. I've made three tops for LWML but only found pics of two.

Some of you will recognize your fabric from previous swaps.

What lovely scrappies, Mona G!

Your poor husband, Cathy! He sounds like really has gone through the ring lately.

I've been appliquing teddy bear blocks for my new Baby's baby quilt. My insurance at last kicked in and I have my first prenatal appointment tomorrow. I'm half way through my pregnancy and can't wait to hear the little one's heartbeat!

I have been lurking and reading the posts everyday, just a lot of things going on here. Different side effects that the doctors don't know the reason for yet but they are trying to find out why. Waiting for appt. for another MRI and a dye scan, they hope that will tell them something. Lots of swelling and discomfort....worst is I can't drive anymore. They are trying to rule out that the cancer has come back and made it's way to the lymph nodes, hopefully one of these tests will tell them.
Meanwhile I have sewn some blocks for this quilt as I usually make them 5X5 sqs. so that leaves me 6 to make. This is what I have come up with for this group:

Beautiful blocks, Jaba! I'll be praying for good results from the new MRI. I hope your doctor can pinpoint the problem and get you some relief quickly. ((((((Hugs))))))

Love your blocks, Jaba. The gold really makes your fabric sing! I will be praying for good news for you. Hope you feel better soon.

Mona, those are cool scrappies and yes, I see my fabric... and lots of other boom fabrics. I need to do some scrappies like that. My scraps are taking over the world!

Lovely blocks, Jaba! I love the splashes of gold. Hopefully you heard good news back from your doctor soon. I'll say a pray for you!

Hopefully this time next week we will be playing with everyone's fabrics and sewing up a storm!
