    Love my blocks.

So sad to hear about Joan. That is so horrible. Maybe we can donate the blocks we make for her to anyone who wants to make a quilt for her family. The obit says she has a son and a daughter. Maybe make them into to lap quilts. Just a thought.

Gorgeous babies. Cannot wait for my grandson to make his debut any time soon.

Anyone wishing to make blocks from Joan’s fabric (if they aren’t made already) please go ahead. If you don’t wish to, it’s ok. As I said earlier, I’m going to try to reach a family member to see if they’d like those blocks. If not, I would certainly think a quilt for donation would be the way to go. I want to give the family the opportunity to have them since it is her fabric.

I'll gladly make up the two I have for Joan. I had already picked out the block patterns and was looking forward to making them.

I am working on Mona's now, and then have two for Have4boys. I had a nice relaxing time digging through my stash pulling out fall colors this morning. Great way to start the day - and now it's ready to start sewing when I'm off work this afternoon.

Macybaby, thanks for making up Joan's. Something good will come out of them of that I am certain. And I agree about digging through the stash. I don't have all that much but it has a calming effect on me. That, and a nice cup of coffee or tea, is a lovely way to start the day.

Thanks for adding Joan's sig line to yours, Janice... It was always a good reminder, every time I read it. Joan lives on in our hearts and memories!
