That is waaaay too cold for me! Tonight it is supposed to get down into the 30's, the cold weather needs to stay north of the Mason Dixon Line!

Here ya go Terri: Rock, paper, scissors, explained. It’s pretty simple. As the article says, it’s sometimes used in lieu of a coin toss, to decide something.

OMgosh...I'm going insane! We've got a bluebird that is hitting the windows, apparently trying to fight himself. This never happened before! He's hitting the window every few seconds and has been doing it for almost 2 hours! I almost wish he'd concuss himself and go away for a while. Love the bluebirds, but this one is too much. Talk about a bird brain! All this while I'm trying to pull your pix and read the fun posts. I'm off to yoga soon so will have to quit. Maybe he'll be gone when I get back. If not, we'll put the screens up. That ought to stop him. I hope.

Januce, try putting a dark sheet up in the window so he can’t see his reflection.

Yes, I must have had a boring childhood, lol! My sisters and I did play hopscotch but I was never able to master skip rope. I definitely want my girls to know how to skip rope! And how to roller skate. Those were two outdoor games I wish I had known.

Janice, my aunt had that happen to her once. She got a toy cat that is life size and put it on the window sill. The bird stopped. Another trick is a toy snake, but I hate snakes!

NZQuilter, it's quiet at the window now. Earlier, it was cloudy, now it's sunny. The poor BB probably cannot see his reflection quite as well with the sun streaming in, lighting up the inside of the kitchen. We haven't bothered with the screens yet. We'll wait for tomorrow morning to see if it starts again. I hope we don't have a repeat of it. LOL

We had that happen at the lake, scared me at first. We closed the blinds and bet it still kept running into the window for at least an hour. Dh even went out with a broom and stood there. Soon as he left it started again.
