Here's my last two blocks for Boom 22. First one is for TravelingGramma. I'm calling it Dried Apple Pie.
    Second one is for Hav4boys.
Janice, a June start date works for me.

Thank you SBG. I, too, saw 4 tulips when I first saw this block and thought it might look well with Terri's fabric. Had fun selecting the red/orange fabrics and putting that one together.. I pondered reversing the corner 4-patch blocks but it seemed a bit too busy the other way.

I must confess I'm all about rulers and gadgets that make things easier and more precise. I've read several positive comments on the QB about Deb Tucker's rulers and I can now endorse her V-block ruler! I also picked up the Corner Beam and Split Rec rulers at a recent show and hope to use them soon - maybe on a few Boom blocks?

A June Boom sounds like a great idea so everyone can finish up well before the holidays.

Yes, wonderful finish of your last two blocks, Libster! Hard to believe the fun is soon to be over - but now we may have a June Boom to look forward to

Janice - my summer is packed out and will be on the road. So a later start is better for me - but let the majority rule - and your time schedule come first.
Libster - love my dried apple pie - the fabric is a perfect match. Everyone's view of my fabric is wonderful - as I was totally blank!!

I've been working on a new to me technique. I decided to give freezer paper fpp a try. I have to say it is awesome, I don't think I will ever go back to ripping the paper. This block has 32 pieced triangles, 16 left side and 16 right side (2 triangles make a 3.5 inch square) I was able to make all 32 triangles from 2 paper patterns one for each side. I included fussy cutting w/ fpp, the fussy placement isn't perfect and many of my points are "off" but the over all look is good I think.

    Great finish, Libster!

Mrs. Merkle I am about to go look for that ruler online. I have the regular tri recs rulers but they are still hard to get right.

Cool motifs, Kass. It's all Greek to me how you do that!
