So glad GramE will be joining us next time! ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
These daffodils are new to me. I thought they were so pretty in the picture that I planted them despite multiple years when others would bloom and bam, a freeze where the flowers keeled over.
. I usually call them daff-o-deads for that reason, such was my luck. Anyway, these are late bloomers and they’re holding up. Really pretty orange centers. Might try to find more come autumn.

I've had the same general experience with daff-o-deads (I'll have to borrow your phrase, too!) that often succumb to a late freeze.. but your Narcissus Tahiti is worth a try! I'll have to look them up. Thanks for the info! It sure is a beauty ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

We are having an absolute beautiful day today - and where am I? Inside now. Took a long walk this morning and washed the car. Spread mothballs around perimeter of property - keeps the cats and skunks out. so that is all the work I shall do today -
I have been working on Cheeseheads - and it came out a perfect 10.5" - pattern didn't say that - grr. So I made it a bit wonky for fun and love the colors.
I saw a picture of Terriamn's online and wanted to do it - of course the size was all wrong so had to do some "math". I will be doing this one again!
Enjoy today - because it is the only chance you will have before its gone.

Cripe we still have 3 feet of snow here, hard to imagine any of the flowers blooming. Some of my day lilies are right next to the foundation of the house and are the first to pop up with their greenery. Will be watching for them.
Don’t think I have any daffodils left but still have some tulips.
Thanks Sewbiz, have to admit I’m starting to get apprehensive
only 6 more sleeps till s day

Well, all my blocks are finished. Phooey!! Guess I can go ahead and finished making enough for myself to make my quilts the size I want them. I'm eyeing several different pieces of fabric for Boom 23. I'm really excited that GramE is going to be back. I have my Sooner and Later blocks all neat and tidy, waiting in their envelope for the next shipping window when Janice opens it up again. Meanwhile, I'm gonna' sit back and just enjoy everybody's pictures. Gorgeous blocks this time, Everybody! What a quilt show we'll have later.
I did want to mention that I'm sending just a little extra along with my shipping costs to help defray the cost for making Joan's Memory Quilt. I know she would do the same for one of us. I miss her bright chatter already.
Rest easy, my friend, and quilt on.
