All the Beautiful blocks! Darcy your Janice block is amazing and I also loved the applique birds blocks. These quilts are going to be amazing. I’m toying with joining both booms because I love designing these blocks so much but I’m so slow! Doing 38 blocks is intimidating!

What do do you guys think?

The flowers are from Joshua Tree National Park. The van camping spot is from Valley of Fire NV Dh takes hundreds of photos.

MJP, we went to Valley of Fire when in Neveda, isn’t it incredible. One of the prettiest places I have ever been to

Mjp, the photos are beautiful. The rock formations are a stunning color! I’ll have to be sure to add both locations to my “want to see” list next time we head west. As for doing both groups, usually we’ve got a smaller group for the 2 month. Most opt to round up to 19 blocks but you could always do one block each. That’s what NanaKathy55 and NZQuilter did this round. They made 13 instead of 19, one for each person. Just a thought. Btw, I’ve never done both groups myself and have even sat some out. Both groups would be too much for me with mom, the dogs and running the swap. All three require a lot of attention!

Glad I went w/ Gary to Tulsa today, found my next Boom fabric. It is perfect b/c I got such a great deal on it. I wanted a terra cotta color either solid or tot, this is solid and just a touch brighter then true terra cotta. I think it will make a great "Zuni" quilt.

MJP, those are some really beautiful pictures. I've never been out west, but would love to one day.
For the next boom, I might send an assortment of kids fabric and just let everyone do their own thing. I have too much of it and need to do something with it.
