Terriamn, funny! Lstew, no serger here but then I haven’t changed sewing machines in 35 years!

    Mjp, love the DotD piece.

Kass, another side to you, fabric designer! Congrats on such a fine design. It’s no surprise that you seem to be able to do anything you set your mind to. . GramE, I’m with you...”Fabric Designs by Kass”.

The next fabric I design is going to be specifically for ties for Gary. I figured out the layout I need to make the best use of the fabric size and where the print needs to be centered to be visible in the tie front. I forget if I can get 3 or 4 from 1 yard, but I have it written out and planned at home. I am going to use some of my photography.

Sewbizgirl, thanks for reminding me of the block name. I guess because I made this block before I ever saw a 9 patch cut up and put back together I have a hard time remembering it.

Today's block is for JayneW. It is called Flies in the Barn.

Bibliostone, love this block on point! I might have to add this one to my notebook of special blocks (to me).

Oh Janice -your strawberry is perfect! And those scrappy top - reminds me of those candies!! Thank you - it will be perfect.
Kass - I am always in awe of any talent - and the fact that you conquered the computer program to make this is even better! A lot of work and thought always goes into whatever you make. Being in AZ there is so much southwestern fabric available - but the pottery designs are amazing.

Thanks. The look and "feel" of the pottery is more where I'm going w/ this (I hope). We are in native country here in OK the center of the "5 civilized tribes" and all and our local quilt shop has lots of native type designed fabrics, but more the bright colors and kitchie (this isn't spelled right, but spell check has no idea what I'm trying to write). I was really taken by the graphic designs of the native south west that is more the feel of where I am going.
