I can't print out more designs on fabric from my computer until I figure out a way to keep the ink from fading. The lizard faded significantly after laundering. If I can't figure it out I can always print them in spoonflower, but I was hoping to be able to do them at home since they are going to be small.

Which do you ladies think is best the twisted or the straight one?

Nice Kass! I have to say I like the straight one best. The twisted has a bit too much going on, for me. You're so creative!

I think the straight one is probably more authentic but I like the twisted one a bit more. I like all the movement

Kass, I think the straight one looks more authenitic, but I like them both.

Today's block is for Hav4boys and I hope it is not too busy. It is not the block I intended, but I cut out all the pieces and then realized I had not added any seam allowance on any of them! So it is an improvised block and I hope you can use it.

Bibliostone I love the Hav4boysboys block.

Kass I like the straight one. I suffer from a tad of vertigo and I can’t easily look at the other one.

Here is a block for Cheesehead. The colors aren’t quite right. The two print fabrics are the ones you sent.

I've done that before... so guess what ended up with a 1" border?

    Lovely new blocks, ladies.

Kassaundra, look at what you are making! I like the straight one better but it's what you like best.
    MjpEncinitas, lovely block for Cheesehead.
    Bibliostone, terrific block for JayneW.
TravelingGramma, glad you like the block.

Am having laptop issues yet again so it's probably time to seriously look at a new one before this one quits mid-Boom. I'd be up the creek without a paddle for sure.

Kass, I think I like the straight one a tad more too. Wow, your talent is soooo above my league. Again, hat's off.

I've been learning a little about the symbolism in the art work. The stacked clam shells that have the lines coming out from them (usually down) are storm clouds and rain, they usually have the lightening w/ the arrow at the end. I added the double circles (light and dark) w/ the "rays" to symbolize the sun and moon. The twisted one I thought would be a cool way to symbolize OK tornadoes. I really like them both, I may use one of each, maybe play w/ the size and layout of one so it is more different (like 3 small ones stacked or in a triangle layout.)
