Good morning ladies, i love hearing what everyone else is working on. I am going to go grocery shopping and then work in my sewing room. I really need to clean it up a little but then i see something that needs sewed here or there and then the cleaning gets put on the back burner. so I will probably just sew.

Mailed my package yesterday and sent the tracking number to Janice. Now all I have to do is wait!

Hav4, I love your cat fabric!

Bibliostone, your fabric is beautiful...can't wait to see what Kass does with it!

I just finished cutting and bagging my fabric for Boom 23, I can't wait! This is the fabric I chose.

I'm getting excited now, seeing all the pretty new fabrics to play with next Boom! I have mine, just haven't taken a picture of it yet.

Such pretty fabrics for the next boom! Mom and I were at the fabric store yesterday celebrating her birthday and we saw several “potential” boom fabrics.

Several of you are on the ball for the next boom, already buying and cutting fabric. Since that’s the case, a reminder for those interested in Boom 23, fabric cuts should be 11x18 if possible, but not a thread less than 10x18. And that size is after washing and removal of selvages. This round I had two pieces with selvages and several that shrank when I hit them with starch. They shriveled before my eyes. Had I made the rookie mistake of starching after the block was made, well, it wouldn’t have been pretty. Please, please, please pre-wash or cut very generously. Thank you!

Beautiful flowers.

Oh another boomer working in southwest this time around, don't know the size of that repeat, but it definitely got my fussy cutting fingers itchy! lol

Are the roses for something specific?

Hello everyone! First of all - thank you for the flowers - I can almost smell them. They made my day.
Well my mom flew back to her NY house yesterday - and we will be following in the trailer at the end of the month. My brother called - mom fell at church and cracked a rib and bruised up. Not even 24 hours that she was there. My first thought is to get on a plane. Then I thought - hey - she has been living with me for over 5months. He can move in to her place for a month or so!! This summer should be very interesting - a lot of decisions to be made.

But for now - I started to work on the birthday swap "Valentine and Dresden quilt"! Love the pattern (thank you JENNR8R and SheriR). Will be for my cousins daughter who just got engaged. I went through my stash to find some other fun "significant to them" fussy cut blocks to add.
And I am making a few more blocks for the boom quilt - and attempting to work out placement with the photos that Janice so wonderfully posted! (it really is a blessing)
With mom and the traveling this summer, I will have to sit out the next boom. But have no fear - I will be watching. Hopefully a Newbie can take my place and you all can teach her(or him) our unique relationship! You are coming up with very original fabric choices and it would have been so fun to work with them, and can't wait to see your creations.

One last flower picture - this morning I awoke to my 1st Peony bloom and they are my favorite flower so I had to share

I hope I resized it down enough so it's not such a large picture this time.

It’s so nice seeing all the flowers, it will be awhile till we see any here. Had an incredibly beautiful day at the lake yesterday but supposed to rain all next week again.

Have been bugging dh about getting a newer faster pontoon. If you are on the other side of lake and nature calls it is not a pleasant experience. He asked if we bought a regular boat that could pull grand’s on a tube would I be ok with selling our jet skis and the pontoon. Lot’s less work for him. Will really miss my jet ski but he worries every time I take off alone on mine and his arthritis in his hands makes it hard for him to ride very often. Of course I said yes. Looking for just the right boat will be our next new adventure. All but one of our friends at lake now have pontoons so I will still be able to go on leisurely rides with them
