Well, it is pretty. You can cross that one off your block bucket list then.

Understand completely Libster. I have had Storm on Sea on my bucket list - printed out a lot of foundation pieces and copied loads of variations. Then I made one block - for last boom - and said 4getabout it. No way could I do upteen of the same block like it! Oh well - so many others on my list!!

Pretty block Libster, I see why you wanted to make it as it looks like a neat pattern.

Klaws your block is lovely too, the subtle colors you chose this time around will make a calming looking quilt.

It took an act of Congress (groan) to figure out how to put the darn thing together. It looks so simple, but believe me, it's not! Jack and I are on unmentionable first names now!

Hi Laters... I have another block to post for your group. MJPEncinitas and I did a side swap, and this is her block. It's a monkey wrench block, but there's so much going on that you can hardly tell. To me it looks like diving birds, all going for the fruit in the center. LOL. I hope you like it, MJP!

(The dark spots on the purple are just water from the steam. I didn't think they'd show up, but they do. Oops.)

The blocks over here are looking awesome! Libster, your block does not look easy... but I like it a lot. It was worth the trouble.
