Oh I’m so sorry about JoanLizbay. She was always a wonderful positive boom sister. I will be thinking about her and her family. I wrote on her memorial board.

Take care of yourselves my fellow boomers.

I love my block Lstew. The fussy cutting and design are wonderful and unique. Many thanks. Both blocks are great.

Oh my, thank you for letting us know about Joan. She was a great quilter and swapper.

Lstew - when I first saw your blocks I thought Kassandra made them! Now that is the best compliment I can give.

Yesterday I did get two more done. Snow plow finally came and gave us one lane! I laughed when pick ups were coming from two directions and watching who would do what!
NanaKathy - wasn't sure about your fabric until I found the perfect match for it. Thankfully your fabric was forgiving when I had to piece together one of the pieces!
Marci - this went together unbelievable easy. Every now and then it just works.

Oh my heart is heavy. Joan was so active and energetic. And a skilled quilter. Her hometown will miss her generosity as she shared her handy work with so many. She will be missed but we are blessed to have known her.

Well I had a good cry then went to my happy place and fondled some fabric and sewed a block. I made Darcy's block for her mom, that seemed appropriate today. Hope you like it.

Kassaundra, your blocks never cease to amaze me. To create such unique pieces every time, your mind must be made of completely other-worldly matter than the average person's.

I'm so sorry you all lost a dear boom sister. This is my first swap and I never got to know Joan here.
