I’m sorry you have this delay but I’ll hope it’ll put you in even better condition pre-surgery. It’s a disappointment to be sure.

To play it safe I have called the surgeons office and asked to have surgery rescheduled. Bummer but not the end of the world. Don’t you just hate having to make adult decisions

Oh no! So sorry to hear Terri. Adulting really sucks sometimes.

Sorry you've gotta' wait, Terri, but we all want you in the very best possible condition before doing your surgery. Waiting sure is hard though, isn't it? Hope your DH can get his schedule re-arranged so he can still be there with you when the time comes.

terriamn, I know what you mean! Seems as though it always turns out to be a waiting game with doctors, don't think they realize how hard it is on the patient sometimes but guess they are trying to be as through as they can too.
Love the block, perfect in my quilt, thank you and glad you like the one I made for you Karen.
My heart feels very heavy today with the loss of Joan. Had a hard time sewing and yet it felt appropriate. We all lost a wonderful lady today with this news! I would be happy to make a quilt for her husband or kids but I don't know him well enough to inquire if this would be appreciated. Joan and I chatted a bunch but it was usually about quilting and such. Janice, do you have an opinion on this? as far as I know her daughter does not quilt but I may be wrong.
My final block posts ladies, they are done. Hope they will work for you.

I'm another who may not have personally known JoanLizBay but I certainly feel the heavy heart across the Booms. And, yes, it certainly has one take note of how precious and short life can be and a reminder of how grateful we are for all we have. I share in prayer for Joan's family and friends.

Jaba your blocks are all fantastic. I admire your ability to place the right fabrics together and create such lovely blocks and so precise, too! I am, however, very biased towards the gorgeous block you've made for me! It's so perfectly put together in every way - thank you! It appears you're our first person to finish all blocks too? I'm so sorry the fun is over for you!

H4B, when I first saw your fabric and your intended quilt I knew exactly what fabric I was going to pair with it. I added more bling to your fabric's bling, all the black is sparkly. I camouflaged the girly objects, but hopefully the sacrifice was worth it

Kass, my mom will love this block. I am looking forward to getting this made for her and giving it to her this spring. I am grateful every day for having her and her upbeat attitude about her health.

I am in shock about joanlizbay. I didn’t know her as some of you did but I remember her from the last Boom exchange. I will miss getting to know her and appreciated her as quilting friend.
