Speaking of hippies, did the "hippy quilt" from a few booms ago ever get posted? I really was looking forward to seeing that.

Quick FYI. I believe the bad weather in various parts of the country is wreaking havoc with package delivery. Only half of those due in today have made it to my town and those are out for delivery. I know the others will show up sooner or later. (Yes, I said it!) Anyway, I’ll post as they roll in.

Ive wondered about that quilt...The Abbey Road guys were SO cute...Id love to have a block like that!! Not sure who put it together but I don't think Ive ever seen it finished!! Ive seen a "premade" hippie quilt on line but you can tell they are factory line made..not individually hand made. I thought about buying one then taking the sewing out of it and using the "panels" to make my own design...not sure I have the patience though! If anyone runs across fabric that has "hippy" panels or what would make a good hippy quilt please send me a link for it!! Im about out of the hippy era and into old age era!!

Today I received F8s from Bibliostone, Cheesehead and Kassaundra to add to those from Libster, Jaba, and Marcialee. Thank you!

Kass, look what my Av is doing now. It's loving that kitchen window! I do love something blooming in winter.

Wow! Libster your african violet is so very happy! What a pleasant view out your kitchen window for this time of year

Passing time until our block fabrics arrive so I'm making a simple HST quilt for a neighbor.. the instructions call for tube sewing two WOF strips and cutting the HST blocks from the seams, which I've never done before, and I've quickly discovered it wastes a ton of fabric

I'm changing my strategy and will have 1/3 of the fabric (great blender fabrics too!) left over for making Boom blocks Seriously makes me wonder about those who are writing these patterns
