I got 5 cut out and 3 of them finished this afternoon. LStew2212, the name of your block is "A Gaggle of Geese". I'm really liking how all of your blocks are turning out. I can't wait to see this one finished. Terri's is also finished along with the merklefamily's. Hope they meet your expectations.

I agree! The blocks have really been outstanding this time around!

Annie, I looked up the Herd of Turtles pattern. I love sea turtles! I made their Dolphins and Turtles quilt as a wall hanging. It was my first and last needleturn applique. I plan to do more Hawaiian quilts, but will use the fusible raw edge applique technique next time.

Annie Quilts and Kass - Wow! Amazing blocks. I love the flower, it just makes me feel happy looking at it. Kass, I am not sure I would have ever come up with Fibonnaci sequence, but you can sure bet that once this quilt is made, I will be telling everyone all about it! Love them!

Thanks, Klaws, but it's about the file size, not the size it shows on the page. I cannot quite figure out why a small file may post as a large picture or a very small one. The first file for hav is only 90 kb and is sharp. The next is blurry but actually a slightly larger size at 100 kb. The third is 186 kb and sharp. All are fine size-wise (file size) but why are some sharp and others not? I don't get it. I'm not that computer savvy.

    Besides that, beautiful blocks!

Also, the first picture for Cheesehead is a little blurry.

Go off the board for about a day and a half and up pop almost 20 blocks. Wow! Every single one is beautiful. Kass love the Fibonnacci block. I was ignorant of sacred geometry most of my life but see it in many places now, including here! Happily did recognize it. AnnieQuilts, lovely applique/reverse applique block for Jayne. Bibliostone, Klaws, Libster, Cheesehead, mjpEncinitas, PamelaOry (thank you for mine again) and Terriamn, beautiful blocks. This group is making outstanding blocks!

My plans changed at the last minute and I got home late last night. This morning I awoke early and started on an "out of the box" block for TheMerkleFamily. Well, out of the box for me anyway. Shock of shocks, it's not a star. Should finish it by this evening.

    Have a great weekend everyone.
