Which books do you already have? There are three around the block books, and many websites with free patterns for 12.5” blocks. I download the ones I like and keep them in a folder on my desktop. Then they are ready to go when I need to make blocks.

bibliostone, my block is great, thank you. The blue just pops.
Hubby update: He is doing well. His home therapy visits are done and he starts outpatient therapy on Thursday. Doctor said he could start walking with just a cane, instead of a walker, as soon as he felt comfortable with it.
Janice, I have over half my blocks done and my goal is to finish piecing them by the end of October.
My first block is for Annt59:

Reminder that you all can ship now whenever you’re ready until the end of the swap. Just please send me tracking info so I know to be looking for packages.
DS and DDIL (I love saying that) are headed to the left coast tomorrow and they’re flying out of Atlanta. They are stopping here tonight and leaving our Gdog here for the duration of the trip. We’ll also get to see how big DDIL is now. She thinks the baby is growing really big now but then she’s not very big herself. We’ll see! Abt 8 1/2 weeks to go until grand is due to make his or her appearance. I made another cradle sheet this morning. Two more and they’ll be well stocked.
