Glad you like it! Had a lot of debating over the color and what block to use! I will definitely have to keep the ribbon star handy for the the next !

I just made this boom tablecloth in time to use it at our annual Halloween party. We sit out on the driveway and watch the 70 or so kids trick or treat. They get to pick out a book. We feed our guests three kinds of soup. Two kinds of bread and a piece of pie. Easy peasy. About 20 -25 guests. I made Cincinnati Chili yesterday . John made vegan African stew this morning and a guest is bringing another soup. John made cornbread, I bought other bread and the pies from grocery store. I put all my Day of the Dead quilts out for decoration with two jack o lanterns that I notice my husband carved this morning. .

guests bring the drink of their choice. As usual much of this is getting done at the last minute especially since I had a three set league tennis match. We won that but it wasn’t prettty, it kept the team in 1st place.
I love Halloween but I wish I had a 26 year old body.

    Klaws great finish.

MJP sounds like a fun Halloween party. It’s only 34 degrees here so no outside parties

My goodness, MJP, you’ve been busy. Love the DOTD table runner and the idea of your Halloween party. Sounds like you had many elements to make the party successful! Happy you won your tennis match, even if it wasn’t pretty.

I’m finishing up a quilt top made with a lot of those 2 1/2 inch squares I love so much. It still in three large pieces but two more seams and she’ll be ready for quilting. How is anyone’s guess right now. I’ve also made cradle sheets, bumper pads (actually in the works), and burp pads for the grand. Had the opportunity to feel the baby kick yesterday. It was only a little flutter so I wasn’t sure but I’m choosing to believe that was him or her. Next time I hope I can be there when the grand is playing roller derby in DIL’s abdomen. It’s down 35 degrees since my earlier post. Might actually freeze tonight. Sheesh. Time for sleep. (Even decaf keeps me awake these days.)
