Been getting my fabric prepped. These are the two I will be sending. The first is for a lady's quilt, and the surfer fabric is for a quilt for a young man.

Sewbiz love your fabrics, first one is soft and inviting and second has the magic of the ocean.

What colors are you asking to go with them

SewBiz, I’m raising my hand and waving, pick me! I love the dish fabric. Who’s the manufacturer?

Thanks, just the colors in the print itself. No white for the first one, no light blue for the second.

Don't have the selvedges any more, GramE, but I think it was a Waverly print. I saw it in the $1.00 clearance at Walmart, but sadly had bought mine before it went on sale.

Yeah Sewbiz is back! The fabrics are gorgeous. I’m partial to the surfer fabric!

Our town Encinitas, has a traffic sign for surf crossings. It’s a picture of a surfer carrying a surfboard. Whttp://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/W...H_Encinitas_CA

We we are also famous for the Cardiff kook statue which is a hated statue of a boy learning to surf. People dress it up all the time. The first time they put shark fins leading up to the statue that got closer and closer each day. Then one day the statue was engulfed by a shark with the boys body sticking out of his mouth.

We also have the beautiful Surfing Madonna mosaic that the artist stealthily put up on a train underpass. The town made him take it down. He put it up on a nearby restaurant wall. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surfing_Madonna

One of our beaches, Swamis was mentioned in The Beach Boys song Surfing USA. We boogie board there.

    Surfing is all around!

Are we still allowed to send a small piece of secondary fabric? I would like to include a swatch of red.

MJP... wow, someone went to a lot of trouble to erect that shark around the statue. Wonder why the statue is so hated?

Love the 'surfer crossing' caution sign!

I don't really get the surfing madonna....
