Here is my fabric. The background looks white but it is actually yellow. I love the bright colors. Really different from the grays that I had last time. I think everyone will have fun with it.

Terri, that bunny fabric is adorable and will be great for a gender neutral baby quilt.
Klaws, your fabric is awesome and I love all of the colors! It's going to be so much fun to play with.

This time around I will be just doing the three month group. So many projects going on that I am trying to complete, one of them is the Sooner quilt top from the last boom. It's loaded on the long arm and is ready to be quilted.

With fabric being 42-45" wide its hard to use it efficiently. What I do is get 4 pieces from each width. They will be between 10 1/2 and 11 ' wide. Then I add a few inches and send 20 - 22" long. This way I don't have any wastage. I get 20 pieces out of 2 3/4 yards 100" fabric. (10 1/2 " wide x 20 " long) This helps, especially if you are using stash fabric and don't have more than 3 yards or are on a tight budget. I do try to be meticulous about straight of grain when cutting.

As usual I've got a lot of projects going but I love playing with boom fabric so I can't resist joining. I look forward to Boom23.

Joined this morning, first ever swap. Then found out my LQS is having a fabulous sale starting Friday! I think I’ll choose something outside my comfort zone and see what happens.
