Thank you for my block, Klaws, I love the way it looks with the contrasting dark fabric! Loving everyone's show and tell, hoping to finish up the last of mine this weekend.

Klaws, thank you for my block. It sure changes color when you click on it and make it bigger.

Thank you Aunt for the very nice block. Me and my sewing partner have been very busy making face mask so our blocks are going slow right now.
Glad everyone is save and sewing.

I had to put my block making on hold to make about 50 mask for my dr., family and a nursing agency. I am sure that more will be requested before this is all over. Today, on this very rainy day, I will get back in the swing of making blocks. I just thought I would check in here and see how everyone is doing first. It is only 9:45 am here we are under a "Stay home Stay safe" order. In other words we are quarantined! Since I have only been out to the doctor twice in the last 3 weeks I know I am doing my part but sure would like to go out just because gas is so cheap. My sister filled my tank at $1.37 a gal. No go so sad. I have plenty of sewing to keep me busy. I plan on getting at least 2 more blocks made today. Keep up the good work!

Good to hear from you, Jaba. Although you aren't in the Boom, I hope you are able to do a little sewing for yourself. Hope you get an okay to fly home as soon as it is safe for you. It's one thing to voluntarily be somewhere and another when you "have" to stay put. Don't be a stranger! Hugs...

Annt59, great blocks. Love the orange and black/white for Julia. Good to hear from you Christyj. Keep checking in with us when you can. Juliasb, it's good of you to make the masks.

We got the "stay home" order yesterday until mid-April. We've been doing it anyway but now the county commissioners have ordered it. I'm down at the cabin - very much away from everyone - but I'll be home tomorrow. I'll have time to work on my blocks. I think I have enough fabrics in the stash to finish out the blocks I have left. The LQS and other non-essential (huh? LQS non-essential???) businesses are ordered closed so I've got to make do.

    Take care everyone.

Doing a little sewing, using all those 2 1/2” squares and making some placemats. I call it idle sewing, doesn’t require to much effort
doctors postponed surgery, don’t want me in the hospital. Better safe than sorry. I sure have cabin fever though, like everyone else. Have a good day ladies

Making some face mask today but will get back to the blocks soon. Now that I'm off work I hope to get lots of sewing projects done.
I guess I'll try to do some cleaning and organizing also.
