I got my shipping notification and everything looks good and accurate. Perfect timing for me, cause I have my quilt retreat next weekend and can get some blocks made or at least planned out. I plan on making test blocks with my own fabric first before cutting up everyone else's beautiful fabrics.

Whoo who. So excited we will be snowbirds. Just bought a trailer in a 55 plus community in Mission Texas about 5 lots down from my sister.

How exciting, Terri! Will you live there full time, or just during the winters?

I think the fabrics will arrive on day after my surgery (the 10th) of course this depends on several thing if they are shipped out on Monday (no rush of course). and if they are shipped out by the post office thant night for delivery the following day. In a way I am glad they are not coming before my surgery. I so want to be able to work on them when I am feeling good. I think I will only miss a week or so of sewing time but should be able to get everything done timely. I am just so excited that the arrival is just around the corner.

Terri, that's wonderful! We are looking for a pull behind trailer for camping. I do PD dialysis at night and have to have the right set up, so its taking a while. Would love to see pictures!!

I've been looking at patterns for the fabric selections. So exciting!!!!

I think the Boom could have a name, it's more fun than a number... How about 'Full Day Boom'? It's the 24th and there are 24 hours in a day. :-)

Today I decided I was going to try making a block. I have a numb thumb and pointer finger on my right hand and the left has has the opposite fingers numb.

I had to take breaks but I got my first boom block done for myself.

That's a cool block, Hav... good start!

I spent the day quilting another Boom Quilt... from Boom 23, I think. It was the dishes fabric. I wish I could show these two to you all , but the camera on my phone is not opening the upload screen when I connect it. Very frustrating. It worked last week just fine! Will keep trying to figure it out.

hav4boys, Your 'Maine' block turned out so cool!! I have the Carol Doak 50 Fabulous Paper-pieced Stars book and I love looking at it. I've too many UFOs right now, but your picture sure makes me want to do some paper pieced stars! The colors you used are so cheerful. :-)
