I love mornings when I have a late start to work....Husband is still sleeping and quilting gets done! I got 2 more blocks finished today.
Macybaby - I used my most favorite purple fabric with your little flowers. hope you like it as much as I do!
Juliasb- I tried to balance something bright with the black and white. Hope it works for you.

When I get tired of looking at 4 walls, it brightens me up to see all these wonderful blocks! We drove to the grocery store. It was packed. We drove back home. Planning on trying later tonight. Thought we would go during the rain but everyone else had the same thoughts!

Marcialee - love the snowy star it is wonderful
Have4Boys - that snow man is adorable!!

    Thank you both!!

I have been searching craigslist and Marketplace for months for a kayak that will fit in my car and lightweight. Hit the jackpot yesterday and got two 9' ones and they weighted only 25 lb. Perfect. Took it out on the lake today and it was perfect! Now I can go by myself if DH is too busy!
Got two more to show off
LAFF2019 - had fun with this one - started with a paper pieced pattern and made a few adjustments
Sewbiz - this pattern I had designed a paper pieced pattern years ago when I gave up trying to use similar one. But I am happy to say nothing es upside down!!

Love your blocks TravelingGram. I also got a light weight Kayak! Got mine at Walmart 2 years ago. I can lift it and fit it in my Chevy Equinox between front seats and thru the back seat into the back area!!! Love the versatility of it but wish it was a bit more stable in the water like my heavier ones.

Here are my blocks for today:
    Bees for Bilbiostone
    Amish Stars for Marcialee (feathers)
Amish Star (purple) for Marija - I struggled with the purple on purple with no contrasting fabric
    Amish star for Christyj80590
    Amish Star for Annt59

Nice blocks, Hav. I also struggle when the maker’s instruction doesn’t leave you much option for contrast. I just try to give what is asked for, as I don’t know their intention for the quilt.

TravelingGramma, I love my block! It’s exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you!

Starting to feel I am back on the road to recovery. To say this has kicked my rear is an understatement

Terriamn, so happy to hear you are on the mend! Take it easy. There's plenty of time ahead to finish.
