Klaws and Biblistone, Love my blocks! Everyone is making masks, my Son brings them home for his wife because he wears the
ones the hospital supplies. He suggested putting interfacing in them between the two fabrics

Sewbiz I am the same, have a very difficult Time breathing With my mask on. Working on 40 more masks for church. Struggling to find male appropriate fabric in my stash.
Friday was beautiful here. Saturday it started raining and didn’t stop till some time during the weee hours Las night. We needed the rain but wish it didn’t do it on the weekend.
June 1 many more businesses will reopen here including hair salons. Can’t wait for a haircut. Will be interesting to see how the salons do social distancing, some places sure have been creative.

Bibliostone, I really like this star block for Marija.
I also find it a bit difficult to breathe through my masks without using interfacing. I use two layers of batik and with the tight weave, it seems quite sufficient for non-professional use like grocery store runs and such. I can see how first responders would want the interfacing layer though.
Hope you all had a pleasant weekend. We went down to the cabin and there was cleaning, minor deck repair and lawn mowing to be done. And it seems a mouse moved in at some point over the last couple of months. He's facing eviction shortly.
Have a good Monday!

Terri, I also have some beer themed fabric, and figured I couldn't use it for making them for co-workers since I work for a k-12 Christian based school. . .
However I did make several to send to my Sister for family/friends to use. Just mailed her another box of masks - 50 this time. I'm planning on stopping at 500 masks made, but we'll see.
I figured that I've used up enough stash that I could treat myself to some new fabric. Bluprint is having a sale and I ordered 16 yards of Ombre fabric - in 1 yard lengths of different colors. That should be really fun to play with!
