Yeah, we're expecting to get a lot of rain and some of the wind from Sally here in NC on Thursday and Friday. We'll be on the west side of it, so we shouldn't have to much of a problem.
Stay safe everyone and try to get inland from the storm surge if you're located on the coastline. Please check in when you can so we know you're all okay.

I sent out my fabric and this time I am only sending one fabric. It will be the quilters choice on the geometric fabric of blues. It will be interesting to see what will be done with it. I can hardly wait to get started.

Libster, I just started making the Hunter Star that is your Avatar. I have only sewn the first two pieces of the star. I think it will be a great deal of fun.

Below is my fabric. It's been in the stash for at least 5 years so it's time it gets used. I'm going to totally rip off Moonrise's idea and ask you to use purple, mediums and darks, as opposed to light such as lavender. Moonrise used this same fabric back in Boom 14 in 2015 I believe and she had everyone use purple. I absolutely loved how the blocks turned out. I'll also say you can use a cream that matches the cream in the flowers but I prefer the purple to be the main added color. Thank you, Moonrise, for your fine idea!

MJP and everyone in Flurries, Terriamn used black and white fabrics earlier in Boom 13 and asked for yellow. This round she is asking for a bright blue as you will see in her packages. I was finally able to locate her B/W/Y blocks in my computer and I've added them to a separate page in the gallery so you will see what was done earlier. Enjoy.

    Hello Ladies,

Unfortunately I am going to have to bow out of the Boom. I was really looking forward to it but due to some personal things that came up just don't think I should commit to adding this to my plate right now. I will be trying to make a few blocks out of my already prepared fabrics to see how it comes together and hope life will be a little (a lot?) less hectic next time around!

    Hugs, carriem

Juliasb, did you do the swap with us on this board? I can't remember who the hostess was but I wish someone would do another. It was so much fun. My avatar is what I made for my great-grandson's crib quilt. He sleeps with it every single night, no matter the season. It's time to make him a big boy quilt now. He thinks it should be like his crib quilt.
    Thanks for noticing my avatar.

Carrie, some things cannot be helped. Thank you for getting in touch with me and letting me know. Maybe you can join a future Boom. Good luck!
