Don’t feel bad Carrie. I had to do the last boom. I had underestimated how much work settling my mom’s estate would be. Once I realized that.... Fortunately Janice had someone waiting in the wings.

irish love this fabric. I’m want to make a flying monkey. They are my favorite part of the movie.

thank you Janice for Terri boom pictures.

thinking of all of you by these hurricanes. Stay safe. The fire nearest us was finally 100% contained. We had to be out of our house for 4 hours yesterday so went to the beach. We walked during low tide and boogie boarded in the wake like the kids do. Then went and got flu shots. It was a lovely day thanks to the fire fighters.

the sad thing for CA is the fires have really devastated the beautiful national parks BLM and national forest lands. Not surprising since most of our forest lands are federal. Even with all the controlled burns the rangers do we are still having an overwhelming number of fires.

Cute, cute, cute sewing fabric, Hav! I love fabric like that!

Today was hurricane day, but not too much is happening, thank goodness. It's been windy, and the sky looks weird, and the feeling is of an impending storm, but I think it's missing us. I am not complaining!

When Carrie withdrew, I asked Janice if I could send another fabric. That is how we got the sewing fabric. Here is my block I made at my lunch today. The benefits of working from home.

Here is a quilt top I just finished using leftover boom fabric from everyone. The seam ripper and I spent a lot of time together on this one.
