Great block, Hav. It goes perfectly with the sewing theme.

    MJP, love that scrappy.

My husband came home this evening and told me I was getting a new sewing machine. We went to Meissner's Super Sewing Center and we ordered this beauty. Should be here in 3 weeks.

Hav4, that man is a definite keeper! Make him his favorite meal and put his feet up while it cooks. I'm still drooling over the pic of your new, soon-to-be addition to your sewing room. Lucky you, Girl!

I received another package yesterday. Thank you LAF2019. We're getting close with the last packages set to arrive over the weekend I think. We'll see.

Hope everyone is surviving Sally with no damage. We've had some wind and rain but it's lessening already. Happily the rain wasn't a deluge like other places have had, just a strong, steady rain.

So, yes, Hav is replacing CarrieM so it will be as if Hav has a "twin" doing the darling sewing themed fabric. (Hav,I love this one and your dress block is stunning). She's going to be mighty busy! Congrats on your new sewing machine. Libster is right, your dh is a keeper!

MJP, your scrappy top came out beautifully!

We're still one person short so everyone will receive one duplicate F8 that way everyone gets their 19 blocks back. It looks like I will be mailing on Tuesday.

That's it for now. Later, Flurries! Have a great day.

He thinks it should be like his crib quilt.
    Thanks for noticing my avatar.
No I did not, but I wish I had. I just purchased the Accuquilt die for the Hunter Star and am in love with it. My first block was not quite perfect and now I know to starch the fabric before cutting it. There is a learning curve for this one. I hope mine comes out as nice as yours.

irish love this fabric. I’m want to make a flying monkey. They are my favorite part of the movie.

Love that idea! I want people to have FUN with the fabric.

Anyone else have the COVID blues? Obviously it was hard when it hit, but I had so much to do. I'm an accountant so my hours increased trying to make sense of all the forms, etc. Then both my daughters came back from College and Grad School. And with the summer I could just pretend I wanted to eat outside all of the time. But Fall is here, the temperatures are going down, my girls are gone, and college football is just so odd!. My volunteer job is on hold. My world is getting smaller as the temperatures go down. Honestly, I'm really hoping this swap gets me up and going again! So Janice thanks for already getting the fabrics up in your picture gallery, I've already been thinking about block patterns, etc. Off to eat some chocolate and feel better!

After all this time I am beginning to feel a bit isolated. Unless I am going to the Dr. or PT with DH or running through the drive thru at Walmart for groceries I am home. I have an autoimmune problem and so I stay put. I am beginning to miss my kids and other family. The grand kids came over 2x in the summer but wearing mask the whole time. I didn't even go in the lake with them since they took off mask to swim. I want to see faces of my family. All of them are concerned about me of course and I am glad they are all so careful but I am just missing the smiles. I can and have to handle it. It is what it is. We must put safety first.
