Congratulations GramE! My daughter was 8 weeks early and my son 6 weeks. Babies are just such a blessing.

The baby is adorable, GramE! Congrats on her and her little boy cousin, too.

Hello all, my board name comes from the fact that I was a librarian when I joined (biblio) and my last name Stone. I have been sewing since I joined 4-H when I was in the 5th grade. Our first project was a handsewn hem on a tea towel. My first quilt was in 1972 which was the flannel disaster I wrote about on the boom 24 thread about a month ago. I have been in the booms since boom 3, (2010) but that is not as many as it seems. Then there was only 1 larger group. When we went to the 2 month and the 3 month groups, they had different boom numbers. The fabric I am using will look familiar to many but it is not the same as the fabric from boom 20. I have shown both below so you can compare them. Once again I want red and the darker blue that is in the fabric. I look forward to working with your fabric. Also, I am doing the Misty Meadow mystery quilt along. Is anyone else doing it?

Good morning! Nice to see a little chatter popping up here, Flurries. And I've received word that some fabric is already on the way. Can't wait! And thank you for all the reply emails. Almost everyone has responded already.

GramE, your granddaughter is so precious! Congratulations! I'll add your fabric choices to the gallery later today.

Bugaroo, that weather is just not right. Oh, my gosh. Snow so early.

Our granddaughter just started crawling over the weekend. There's going to be no stopping her now.

I've got to search out what I'm going to send. I think I have enough of a blue floral print to send. Don't know what colors to ask you to use so I might just let you all pick whatever you think is best. We'll see.

I'm here too. Congratulations GramE on the new great granddaughter. She's a cutie. My granddaughter was also a preemie. She turned into a beautiful young lady.

Welcome back everyone. GramE, and everyone - keep posting those precious pictures. Can't get enough of them!
We also are finally out of the 90's for a few days - but won't be getting furries anytime soon.
Am I the only one who had to look up how snowflake was a derogatory term?

My fabrics are cut and almost ready to go in the mail. I will get them out today or tomorrow as soon as I get them labeled and bagged up.
