SBG - I should have taken a picture before I cleaned up yesterday - the look was pretty similar. Unfortunately I do not have my own sewing room and can't shut the door!

Macybaby - we are all working on hiding those cows. It is the rabbits that keep popping up!

DH said to me yesterday my studio looks more like a warehouse without anyone coming to pick up goods. I actually tripped over a pile of fabric last night in the dark. I am ok for sure. It will all get put away soon.

I have mentioned elsewhere on the board that my Janome died on me recently so I have been playing with other machines trying to get the right feel. My Boom blocks are the recipients of this effort. I finally settled in with one of my FW's. So some of your blocks will be sewn a bit differently. They all came out right (I hope). I have squared everything up to 12.5" but I am not a perfect block maker. The block is forgiving in many ways. I hope all of you will enjoy. I still have a few to do and the FW is doing a great job for my 1/4". I have 2 FW's and have not used either of them very much so this is a first for me. For this project they were easy to grab in my overwhelmed studio. Now back to sewing.

I love how juliasb OZ blocks are turning out. Sewbiz, yours is the yellow brick road!

So glad to see another sewing room like mine! For my birthday, I told my hubbie that I want shelves. He was so pleased to have an idea of what to get that we went right to home deop!!!

My two finishes for the morning. One for juliasb and one for MJPEncinitas. Julia, I did some fancy fussy cutting to get yours. I do like the way it turned out. Mary Jo, I gave you as large an area to embroider a turtle as I could with your companion fabric. I've sent all your remaining fabric back along with your block. Hope you like them, Ladies.

Libster I love your block! It is so beautiful. It is so exciting to see how everyone is interpreting this fabric.

Great blocks, Libster... especially the blue! It's fabulous.

This sewing area is actually my dining room! I do clean up between projects, but the Boom blocks are so ongoing that I just wait til I'm done with all before putting things away. It's a mess, but it's my mess and I know where everything is when I need it.

Here is one for Irish Mom. Had to have Oz. The picture color is odd. The blue matched the main fabric and the grass is actually green.
