This block is for TM. It is a Star Frame block to set off the bronco rider.

This block is a reconfiguration of the block for hav4boys. Every time I looked at her block it irritated me so I took the center out and redid it.

We too are having a very small Thanksgiving. We usually have a houseful of friends over but Covid has nixed that. We did just get back from a lovely 10 day socially distanced camping trip. On the last leg at Pinnacles National Park we got to see our SAN Francisco son. He came down and camped with us in the 'tent annex' in our camping spot. I'm so grateful he was very careful with us. He tried to get a Covid test before he came but could only get one on Tuesday (no Covid). It was a joy to see him!

I still have a few blocks to make so I will hopefully be finishing these off next week. I have made plans for most of them. I am a little behind on the quilting of two quilts. This is unusual for me as I usually enjoy this part a lot more than the piecing. I think I've turned the corner on piecing! I'm much more comfortable and quicker with the piecing.

Enjoy your day of thankfulness. I know I have a lot to be thankful for, including the wonderful booms. Stay safe and healthy my "boom sisters".

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Unfortunately I will be alone due to health reasons and unable to join my brother and family and my son and family. But they will be bringing me dinner and all the goodies later today. I will try to catch up on my quilting.

This Thanksgiving was already going to be very small, just DH husband and I. Now it will be even smaller. Our friend who would have normally bought us over a Smoked Turkey dinner and is one of the only ones we have let in the house since last March came down with COVID His wife tested positive Monday and he tested positive yesterday. He was here twice over the weekend He bought us dinner Saturday and Communion on Sunday so now we are quarantining. I will zoom with my kids and grandkids later today. I had to cancel two very important doctor appts and reschedule them. I put on a 9.2lb turkey, the smallest one ever! That will work for us. I am not making all the trimmings I usually make for Thanksgiving but there will be green beans and carrots mash potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce (home made). I have been in the kitchen now for a couple hours and swinging back and forth to here and there checking on things. Wishing everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving no matter where you are or how different things may be.

Biblistone love your last 2 blocks.

Hope everyone had a decent Thanksgiving considering the Covid situation. Ours was very low key but enjoyable. We played the game telestrations after dinner and we all laughed and had a good time. Two granddaughters came over the next day and we made cookies, decorated the Christmas tree and looked at old pictures. Needless to say after all that activity I was really pooped out yesterday and didn’t get much accomplished.
