I'm working on finishing up Pumpkins so I can get started on Flurries. I have a granddaughter and her family coming for a visit and then I'm going to be out of town later in the month. October is OBX time for me, Hatteras here I come! I do love fall fishing. Then I'm making all the traditional dishes for Thanksgiving. DD#1 is a nurse and she'll be working, so I'm cooking her part too.
Sewbiz, congrats on the new grand! I know you're over the moon! You'll figure a way to see this one too.

Look at all the wonderful blocks Libster made. I especially love mine, especially the one with the heart. Thank you so much!
Sewbiz, congratulations on the upcoming new grandbaby!

Hoping to finish the block from hell today. Not sure the name of the block, but I have renamed it. 5 tear outs and two restarts. 6 hours so far.

Libster, my brother in law used to spend summers on Hatteras doing research work while he was in college. He loved it there. I hope you have a great time. Please post some pics for us when you get there.

Can’t wait to see this one... My nemesis are flying geese on the diagonal. Even if I somehow get the geese looking ok, the block size is always off. Frustrating.

And here it is. This one is for Mobile and I will not be making it again. I was determined to have all the fabric lined up and going in the same direction. That was not even the hard part. The two lines in the middle were pieced 5 times. I came to realize the pattern was wrong and made my own.
