Bias lines of geese in a block are my nemesis...

I have begun making them larger than I need and trimming them down to the desired size. Make the geese a bit more manageable.

Since I started using my easy angle and companion angle for flying geese, they aren't a big deal anymore. Never could get any of the "fast" methods to work, or even the "covered corners".

Good morning, Pumpkins. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. We've got a cool, sunny morning. The last couple of days have been rougher pain-wise but I'm sleeping well at night so it's all ok.

Jaba's package has arrived safe and sound; thank you Jaba, Sam and hubby. Although I have had so many offers of help in making blocks from the F8s, I'm simply going to return them to everyone unmade as a few have swappers have requested. I hope you all understand that this is by far the easiest plan. I leave it up to each of you as to whether or not you wish to make a block or return Jaba's F8 to me unmade. I'm sure Jaba will be understanding which ever way you decide to go.

    Have a cheery day!

Thank you, Klaws... love my block.

I have already made two of Jabas blocks, but still have the F8th for her husband’s quilt. Will probably make that block too.

I think returning our unmade blocks is the simplest plan. We can each make our own block....

    Klaws great blocks

I’m also fine with just returning the fat 1/8’s from Jaba and I will make her blocks

I already have Jaba's block made and returning my F8 is fine with me too.

    Everybody's blocks are looking good!

Hang in there, Janice. The worse is behind you now with the surgery. Just don't overdo and let it heal.

Good morning, Pumpkins! Klaws, love those cheery blocks. Ibex will have such a happy quilt with all those lovely fabrics. And I love your block for Sewbizgirl. Her fabric seems to call for classic blocks and yours is wonderful. You all are doing a fabulous job with your blocks. Such a pleasure to come here in the morning and see pretty things such as these.

Yesterday was PT. It was terrible, in a necessary way, but terrible nonetheless. I sobbed at one point but I just hung on through it. You know that thing where medical people will ask you what your pain level is on a scale of 0-10 with ten being the worst? Well, What I previously would have considered a 10 is probably only a 6 or 7 now that I've had yesterday's experience. Ouch....

Have a great day. The weekend is coming!
