Macybaby, I'm not sure which I'm more impressed with, your ability to sew 20 blocks in a weekend or your ability to create such a useful and beautiful sewing area with hubby. Good heavens, I want to be you when I grow up. I was hard pressed to make about a dozen blocks in a couple of weeks. MJP, there are those elf feet again. I love them! Congrats on being tenacious and making Sewbiz's block so nice. I know pieced blocks aren't your favorite way of making them so it makes them more special that you went to the extra effort. Bugaroo, my design wall is much like yours. Easily set up, easily moved. I used a queen size batting and just pinned it in place on the foam boards. Easy peasy. JayneW, I hope the sciatica is letting up a bit. How fun that your BF is interested in your quilting.

I'm off for a nap. My meds have kicked in and I might as well take advantage of them while I still have a few left. I'm holding out one for PT on Wednesday. Ugh. Already dreading it.

    Have a happy Monday everyone!

Macybaby, your sewing room is the envy of the group! It is just beautiful and a place where you want to create wonderful things.

Janice, hope the PT sessions will start becoming easier as your shoulder heals.

I'm off to take the doggie to the vet....

I have three blocks to show you today. All were new patterns for me. For Mobile, a Double Star (#2 from the Patchwork Square website). For Have4Boys a Tom Turkey (Panache pattern -- why should you have all the paper piecing fun?). For MJPEncinitas, "Oblique" (from the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks book).

MJP, as always I LOVE your blocks! Thank you! Also, I see you've made another Elf Foot block - mine is still my all time favorite!

Good afternoon pumpkins! Here are my first two blocks, for Terriamn and Klaws. I haven't been in my stash for over a year - forgot how many future projects I have fabric for!

Thank you Sewbizgirl. I think I am going to applique a piece of orange over the black fabric in the turkey head.... That black on the fabric makes it look like a quail head, lol. I also think I'm putting the green across the entire bottom in more rugged rock shapes since my turkey is walking along... Funny the things that show up when looking at the picture that I don't see in person...

JayneW - I know that feeling. Quilting has been on the backburner out of necessity and now I"m reminded of all the projects I want to get completed. I'm so glad that the BOOM has pulled me back to my sewing priorities! I'm loving all the blocks I'm seeing and making. Your stars are lovely that you just posted. Wonderful color compatibility, too!

Jayne, thank you so much for my block. It's perfect for the quilt I'm making for my friend.

Good morning, Pumpkins! Lovely to see some new blocks here this morning. Klaws, I think your quilt will be beautiful with all the pretty blocks like JayneW's. Jayne, lovely block for Terriamn as well. Hers is one of my favorite fabrics. Ibex, your turkey block for Hav is beautiful. If you change the head, repost it and I'll replace it in the gallery. I love your star block for Mobile and the last for mjp is so colorful and bright.

PT was much better yesterday. What a relief. Have a pleasant day. The weekend is coming!
