Boom 25 -Pumpkins 2 month group

I'm trying to work on a UFO while waiting for fun packages to show up in the mail. I'm really looking forward to getting started picking out patterns and making them using the pink fabric for a test block. I'm aiming for 49 blocks (7x7) and there will be a set of 20 from the swap, and if I make a duplicate set for myself I'll only need about 10 more so I'm considering doing them as embroidery blocks.

Oooh, this sounds lovely, Mabybaby. You'll have a large selection of interesting blocks, different styles yet complimentary.

Sewbizgirl Those are the best sites. Here is another one for 6" blocks -- four will give you the 12" we need (plus seam allowance) to get the blocks needed for this BOOM.

Thank you, Janice!
Mobile - Don't let the QB software worry you, Mobile. Click on "quick reply" or "new thread", scroll down and click "go advanced". There is an upload jpg slot in that screen. I use Paint to shrink my pictures down to the 400 dpi that the system wants.
Another hint to get around the board quickly is to subscribe to the Boom so you can go to "quick links" in the header, click on "subscribed threads" and then click into the Boom board. When folks arent talking much, that is the fastest way to get into the board.
So glad you're booming with us!

Terriamn, if I'm not being too nosy, what's the procedure you're going in for? If you told us
Janice I had a lovely colonoscopy, was on the three year plan and graduated to the 5 year plan. Thank goodness. Doc also took biopsies for microscopic colitis. Hoping they didn’t find that.
Pretty excited -we orderEd our new destination trailer today. Will be here in the Spring. It’s a 2021 Sierra 39‘ loft at Ted’s RV land Paynesville Mn if anyone wants to take a peek
My package also went out today.

Sewing room is organized and ready for the BOOM blocks to begin. Tomorrow I will work on a blocks with my fabrics.
My secret pal sent me some Granny Nanny's Quilting Gadgets. I just love them. They are tiny paper-piecing templates. So excited to try them.
