LOL, I didn't until you said it. Now I do see it. The toe's definitely tapping.

love the stars Libster. I’ll take a late boom start if everyone stays safe from the hurricanes.
    Stay safe my boom sisters.

Looks like we are in the zone that is to the left of the storm and will get 1" of rain. That's fine. Any more and we have problems with flooding. I think we are going to dodge a bullet this time.

The wind from Sally has already reached us and the rain will start in a couple of hours. We're expected to get many inches but that can change with just the slightest veer off anticipated path.

Libster, that star is rather annoyed, I'd say.

Today we're going to euthanize Connie, our almost 16 year old dog. It's working up to be a terrible few days ahead of us and I cannot stop tearing up even now. Uh...this part of loving pets breaks my heart every time and yet we still open ourselves up to it whenever we bring another soul to live with us. It'll be a drastic change at my house. Even though Connie and Ripley, our pitbull, don't really love one another, I know Ripley will feel Connie's loss. Like it or not, they became a pair, relying on each other. Tough days ahead.

Oh Janice, I am so sorry that you are going through a rough time. Losing a pet is one of the worse things to happen other than losing a human family member. My thoughts are with you during this trying time. (((Hugs)))

So sorry for your having to euthanize Connie, Janice. Nothing seems to hurt like losing a pet. I guess it's because they are so innocent. Think of the love you gave each other and I agree with MJP... she was lucky to have a loving home with you and your hubby.

Janice, so sorry for this day ahead of you. I know how hard making a decision such as this is. You'll always have a place in your heart for her. ((((((Hugs)))))) The last time Buddy and I did this, we swore no more pets because it hurts to much when this time comes.
