Marty has had his doggy surgery and is waking up. He should be able to go home today… yay!!

Nice block, Julia! That Presidents quilt is going to be awesome.

Hope Marty is feeling well this morning and that you will be able to keep him quiet enough to give him a good start in his healing process.

Busy morning for me today so I'm off!

The first is called Aunt Vinah's Favorite and the second is Peaceful Hours. The next is for Kristijoy and is a color variation of Squares and Stars. The last is for Ibex94 and is called Cat and Mice.
Love my block, Bibliostone! Those colors play great with my neutral presidents! Welcome back!

Janice -- that Charlie is a cutie. We need to get Ivy to meet Charlie..... SBG, keep on healing. Marty needs lots of petting. I'm glad your vet kept a close eye on the anesthesia!

I am hoping for a quiet week next week so I can pull out my fabric again. My son's family is planning on moving in with us while they build a house and I have been frantically clearing out the guest room and my den area so that the kids have a room and the parents have a room. That means my fabric had to be relocated.... And all the while teaching summer school online. Maybe next week I can sew! It was great seeing all the new blocks. I need to get creative, too! Hugs and prayers of peace and joy to all of you.

Marty is home and doing well, thanks everyone for your good wishes for him! He's getting around pretty well when he needs to, but mostly just lying down. We went outside for a very short potty walk this morning. The vet fashioned a foot cup at the end of his cast, out of an empty medicine bottle, cut in half. So he goes 'tap tap tap' as he walks on it. I think pretty soon he'll put more weight on it.

Here he is, less than impressed with the situation.
