Good morning! Tomorrow group sign-ups close and it appears we will have only one small 3 month group. We have 14 people signed up. Does everyone still wish to go forward with the swap with the smaller number of people? If so, We do have a couple of options. One, everyone can send a single F8 per person (currently you'd need to send me 13) and you would each make 13 blocks for your fellow swappers. Or, two, you all can send me 19 f8s and each of you will get 6 f8 duplicates, and you'd be making 19 blocks. How do you all feel about it? I can do it either way. I, of course, lean to the second option so that you all end up with the full 19 blocks for your time and shipping money. Discussion?

Another option, (see post below) is to sign-up twice, sending two sets of fabric per person. It's what Hav4boys did last round. It might work well again for Hav4boys and Sewbizgirl since you both indicated you want to be in two groups. Jayne W has already expressed an interest in doing just that. Let me know if this is of interest to anyone else. Thanks!

I'm off to get a real haircut. Woo hoo! The mop will be gone shortly.

Please have us send 19. Since Sara and I are splitting the boom and I am sending ten different fabrics you would not be getting duplicates from us. You would be getting two different fabrics.

    thanks Janice
Off to Omaha where my main job will to be part of a team holding my tiny (less than 3 lbs) twin granddaughters for 6-8 hours a day. Littlest one breathes better with skin to skin contact. Pretty good job under the circumstance. I thought I’d be spending the whole time cooking and cleaning.

MJP - this brings back memories of me with my GD in the NICU. I would sit for hours and read aloud to her. One day all I had was the monthly Reader's Digest and the nurses were loving the articles. But I was the one she recognized!! Enjoy every moment!

IBEX - alot of fussy cutting of Presidents - I mean who can cut their head off - well you know what I mean. I would Pres Carter in a peanut field. Or Teddy Roosevelt on the wild west with horses.

Ibex, hard fabric! But I got an idea of how to cut it.

With WW the secret is to keep strictly to your seam allowance. Otherwise you lose those thin places that are important to the design. I have always loved WW.

Today is moving day at my daughter’s house. Movers arrive in 45 minutes!

Sewbiz. Is your dd staying in the Memphis area? Are homes selling like hot cakes there. Most homes are selling within a couple days of being listed here.

My dd was pre approved for a mortgage to buy our house but they didn’t send her the actual numbers so we still don’t know anything. Friday we will take our first load to the storage unit. My dh is getting antsy and I feel like pickle in the middle. Both are strong willed and stubborn.

Will take pictures in a bit of my boomfabric

Janice I prefer to send the 19 baggies. 14 hardly seems worth sending. How weird that the last one filled so quickly and not this one

I prefer to send 19 baggies. A full quilt is my goal. Now to begin bagging things up.

Since those who replied so far are set for 19, let's go ahead and plan to send 19 F8s. If anyone besides JayneW wishes to sign up for two spots, they can let me know and it won't affect the number of F8s to send.
