We got snow, ice and -15° wind chills over the weekend. We didn't go anywhere! Today there is still patches of snow on the ground, but more snow is expected Wednesday night. We have three barn cats, but with this cold, they have been living in our basement, which is more like a cellar. They think they are in heaven!

NZQuilter, brrrr! My son lives about an hour from you and he said it’s mighty cold there but I didn’t think it was that bad until I checked the weather map. My gosh! I’ll bet those cats are happy to be out of the elements.

I've picked my two fabrics for the Boom swap-- (group 2 months and group 3 months.) The first one will be a quilt for a lady. The second, obviously, is for a child. How stinkin' cute are these geckos? I just love them.

Sewbiz- Love both of your fabrics. I know exactly what block I'm doing for the first one.

Still cold as a well diggers rear end here today. At least the sun was shining although it sure didn't throw out much heat. This entire week is supposed to be cold. I know it's winter but I sure did like those 70s days!

Just happened to go fabric shopping today. Aw-the things I endure for my Boom sisters!

I'm sure it was with great sacrifice you had to go shopping.

Heading out the desert tomorrow . We have been in Yuma for one week. Between the planes, trains and cars it is noisy. We did get to Mexico and had DH tooth fixed. He is 69 and still has one wisdom tooth that chipped
Stocked up and ready to head out to peace quiet. Some are already there, others arriving over the next week. Expecting mild temps of high 60's, low if 30's
    Perfect!!

Good morning. SBG, I love those geckos! What colorful fabric. TG, safe travels. It’s quiet near us except for the planes going nearby on the way to the regional airport but those are few enough to remain interesting, not annoying. I appreciate all the quiet we have now. Libster, can’t wait to see what fabrics you come up with. I haven’t been to my LQS yet, been working my stash.

Although sign ups haven’t finished yet, I think we’re close enough in the 3 month group to say we’ll do 19 blocks each. Everyone will have a handful of duplicate F8s and we’ll all end up with19 blocks to make and receive. I’d be prepping my fabric for this scenario in the 3 month group. The 2 month group remains a bit of a question mark but in a couple of days, we can discuss options.

Hope you’ll have a lovely day.
