No, I found it online on bing images, it is by Adele Cosgrove-Bray, I printed it out, then figured out the math, used thangles, and decided to add the touch of turquoise. I’m thinking of making it for the Quilt of Valor in different colors. The thing that took the longest was finding fabrics that played well together, as I’m trying to stick to my stash. <3

Thanks, and fyi, the photo makes it appear that the yellow is solid, it is actually a batik and a low volume non-solid. Hugs!!

-Okay gals - I had to look up what modern was and what it meant. Asymmetrical. So I gave it try. I kept singing The Jetson's tune while doing it and it was very difficult to have my curved pieces different widths and places - but I did it. Hated it - and left it upon wall. Starting to actually like it. Well - alittle.
I do like the other one I made - not modern by definition but felt it went well with the theme.

I have 2 blocks for Marcialee. The first is a Wyoming Beauty and the other name I don’t know, if it has one. I call it star within a star. I love Marcialee’s fabric but I struggled with sewing on the blacks. My eyes are not what they used to be, lol. Hope you like them.
