Hi Everyone,
I have set up an acct at imgbb for our Boom Swap pictures. It's not quite as cool as our Weebly gallery, but it's better than the pictures in the social groups here. You can see the pics better and you will each have your own gallery for each group you are in. Much better. So take a look and give me some feedback like whether you were able to get in and see everything, etc. When you see you album, click on it to see all the pics. Right now there are only fabric pics, plus the few blocks that have been posted. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Klaws, is it ok to use batiks in your block? I’m assuming yes but thought I’d better check anyway. I have lots of lovely batiks to coordinate.

I stitch daily for work so I listen to audio books all week long. Makes things go much better

This part of the swap—the waiting— has always been the hardest part for me. I always hear (in my head) Tom Petty singing, “The waa-aa-ting is the hardest part.” How true.

I’ve been looking through block patterns to help me pass the time. My quilt center is done now so it’s border time but I’m thinking about the boom instead. Waiting is difficult. 😀

Often finding the right block pattern for a fabric takes me longer than actually making the block. But it's all part of the fun.

Hi Terriamn, yes, Weebly is still open. In fact, I just went in and opened up all the galleries I had so there's a lot to look at. Weebly has changed hands and I've got to update my login and I'm having trouble. I hope to figure it out in the next couple of days because my plan is just to keep this open indefinitely. The URL is in my signature as always.
