Good morning. Yesterday I was able to work on blocks. Yay! I’ve got five on the design wall in various stages of piecing. Usually I start a block and work it to completion but this time I’m doing it differently. Hope to have all five done by the end of the weekend. It’s kind of fun to see all the blocks up there. So colorful. I’ve got some chain piecing ahead.

Tonight is our DGD’s birthday party. Can hardly believe she’s one!

Two blocks done. One for Sewbizgirl and the other for AnnaQuilts. SBG, I hope this isn’t too simple. The pattern was busy enough that I thought it didn’t need much help to carry off a block. And Annaquilts, this is not at all what I hoped for. It was such a large floral pattern. I should have chosen a block with an 8-1/2 inch center to show off one gigantic bloom. The colors do work though so maybe you can use it. I’m seldom disappointed in my blocks but this is one that falls into that category.
