    Default For Sewbizgirl

    Hey fearless leader!
Here's a simple construction block for you. My sewing area has been totally disorganized, to the point that I can't find fabric the juvenile fabric that I KNOW is in there. Hopefully I can be more organized once my sewing shed is finished. (Happy dance!!)
Thank you for the light purple in the block you made for me. It looks really nice.

Now, I should be caught up with the photos. I plan to mail out my finished package today or tomorrow. I will PM the shipping info to you.

Wow I really love this star block, what is the pattern/name? It looks really hard but it seems like it might be paper pieced? Nice! Thanks!

Here's two blocks for you. I hope you like them. I must have been working on them at the same time as the modern block for Duckling.
Thanks for the two blocks you made me. They will look great in a project.
Thanks for these as well! Love the modern one, right up my alley ;-) I've been studying the tutorial that Sewbiz wrote, it looks like a fantastic way to be able to quilt smaller pieces rather than struggling under the machine to make something huge. I read it the first time and didn't understand it, but then when I got to the end, it was like a lightbulb went off...ahhhh....now I see....LOL. Then I got busy in the office and was going to re-read it tonight. Hugs all!

Oh I feel your pain! I spent a good part of today cleaning my sewing room. It looked like a bomb hit it. I get crazy when I know I have about a dozen rotary cutters ( only a slight exaggeration) and can't find one!!

I made one for logcabin82 tonight. The F8 reminded me of the rolling rivers, so I pulled out a piece of batik that I bought on a trip to Alaska of salmon swimming up stream. I hope you like it.

Thank you! I love the salmon swimming, really cool effect!! I’m probably going to give this quilt to my nephew when I finish it! He loves the ocean! (And Salmon!)

All2Pieces, thank you for my fun construction block!

Reba, I'm glad the tutorial made the light bulb go off!

Lstew, that batik block is gorgeous!

I have been steadily getting the packages of blocks back. They are awesome! Thank you for doing an amazing job.

I am starting the list of blocks received due to having so many come in. So far, these are here:

    1. Reba (2 sets)
    2. Anna (2 sets)
    3. Log Cabin
    4. Sewbiz (2 sets)
    5. SusieQOH
    6. Libster

No rush at all... we still have 5 weeks left until your blocks have to be here.

Annaquilts - I hope you like my version of an ivy-covered cottage. Thank you for the beautiful blocks you've made for me. The appliqued dove and butterfly are especially appropriate. Thanks very much!
Thank you All2pieces for my adorable cottage and lovely floral block.
