I was shopping my stash and I found this Christmas fabric. An idea came to me. I am going to give two Christmas quilts away at Christmas. I will put two stars in two Christmas cards. (My husband has 9 brothers and sisters, then all their families.) I will have everyone pick a Christmas card and the 2 people who have the stars in their card gets to pick one of the boxes with a Christmas quilt in it. A fun little game that might become a tradition every Christmas.

You very talented Boom Friends will help me make one of the quilts.

Boom 28 Christmas blocks will make the second quilt. I will post a pic when I get it done.

Lstew -- great idea! But the relatives who do not get the star in their card will be very sad. Will they get a box of cookies instead?

Logcabin, I see a lot of sea grass in your future.... Beautiful fabrics!

I just thought of another reason to specify which colors to avoid (besides hating a particular color) -- if your sashing is going to be a solid color avoiding that color in the blocks is a good way to plan ahead, right? I think someone mentioned their preferred sashing in Boom 28.
