Ribbon embroidery was on my to do list once. I erased it when my quilting passion took off after inheriting my sister-in-law's stash and tools. It will be lovely to see your work with all of those color groupings, LC82.

Oh my ladies I have been through hades and back. Last Wednesday I had oral surgery to remove 2 cracked teeth and a bridge to prepare for 4 implants. It took 3 hours for dentist to remove the teeth. The teeth just crumbled and broke apart. Thursday morning I woke up to the right side of my chin and neck black and blue and both cheeks massively swollen. The pain was massive, Thankfully last night seemed to be the turning point. This morning I can feel my face, open my mouth, swelling is dramatically reduced and my whole head isn’t throbbing. It was a long long ride back to Minnesota but happy to be home for a month

Terriamn, what a terrible experience! It sounds like you are rounding the corner. I hope the rest of the procedure isn’t as tough. Hugs!

I was just going to ask how you were doing today, Terri and poof there was the answer. Glad to know you are getting better. I was going to say glad to know "mending" but quilters don't mend. They make quilts! Tee-Hee-Hee! Be gracious with yourself so you can keep moving forward in your recovery.

I hope you're feeling much better today!! I have been listening to all sorts of Greek Mythology books, and I think you gave Hades a new torture item in his "Fields of Punishment!" Yikes!!!

Very beautifully executed 8 piece point, Janice! I made the Alaska quilt, which is made up entirely of those blocks, and they are a beast!

I love having this thread to chat in between Booms. What's everybody working on?
