LStew- here's a good one from Sewbizgirl. I hope it is the one.

Karen Brown of "Just Get it Done Quilts" also has a good tutorial for quilt as you go if you need another reliable tutorial. I am sure there are others. I will often read several tutorials and then glean the best from all of them.

Thanks, SusieQ. The one you posted was my tute for QAYG with wide sashings. I also posted one for narrow joins (no sashings) that is a bit simpler:
Quilt As You Go (QAYG) Tutorial

Boom blocks are perfect for QAYG, if you want to go that route.

Good morning. FYI, I’ve used SBG’s QAYG tutorials several times and they’re very good. I especially like the one using narrow strips. Perfect for a quick finish for the Boom blocks. I’ve got Boom 29 up on the design wall to QAYG right now. Just have to stop letting life get in the way of my sewing!

#I Autumn BOOM 30

Eden's Dragon Quilt

My grand daughter Eden is one of triplet girls. She just turned 9. I would love your help to make her a pretty, big girl quilt. Her color is a crisp green. She is more quiet but observes everything closely.

I sent out low volume fabric with small prints, please use this as back ground only. I am looking for classic blocks, any style, in the color crisp green and other happy bright colors to stand out from the background.
Of course dragons in any cheerful colors are also welcome.
Any questions please ask me.

Thank you, Annaquilts

Selah's Butterfly, lady bugs, dragon flies and frogs quilt. Her color is bright pink and she likes grey also.
Little Selah is one of a set of triplet granddaughters. She just turned 9. She lives with her parents and sisters on a mountainside in the woods. There Selah likes to catch her favorite little critters. Due to severe allergies, hives, to some common foods, she needs to wear gloves, leggings and long sleeves when they go anywhere. Selah is bright, quiet and shy.
I send low volume pastel fabric that I would like you to use for the background only. Please make classic blocks , any style, with bright pink and as additional colors teal, purple or red. Of course any of the little critters, butterflies, lady bugs, dragon flies and frogs, in any of their bright colors would be welcome too.

I am looking forward to the beautiful blocks you will make.
Thank you, Annaquilts

Two batches of low volume fabrics are going out today. I am hoping for people to add bright, not neon, fabrics to stand out from the low volume back grounds. Please no whites or yellows.

Pretty fabrics Anna!

While patiently waiting for everyone's fabric to arrive, I decided to play with my fabric. So far, this fabric I haven't been able to photograph well. Will try to sharpen up future images.
